Of all the different types of silk, Mulberry silk is the finest and the softest. The triangular prism-like structure of the silk fibre allows the silk fabric to refract incoming light at different angles - or simply put, it has a lustrous shine.
It is a type of wool that is finer and lighter than sheeps wool, however is more insulating while also giving you the dreamy soft and luxurious feel. Cashmere on its own is a very delicate fabric.
Modal is a type of rayon that is made from cellulose of the beech trees. Modal is very breathable and silky smooth to touch. It is a strong fibre that is super resistant to shrinking, pilling or fading - making it the ideal companion to cashmere in our cashmere blend scarves.
We recommend you only dry cleaning the scarves to maintain their lustre and quality. These scarves are made from the finest fabric and particularly the cashmere blend scarves and the floral silks are quite delicate - so care should be taken while wearing them near sharp objects as they could tug on the weaves.
